Japanese Star Yuka Sakazaki Set To Return To AEW

A massive announcement was recently made by the official Twitter account of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling that Yuka Sakazaki, a top star in the promotion, is set to return to AEW this coming May as All Elite Wrestling has requested that the top Japanese Star will appear at a few AEW shows this month, but she will reportedly be missing a merchandise event on Tuesday, May 3 and a show on Thursday, May 5 due to her upcoming appearances for AEW as announced by TJPW.

Sakazaki competed in her first-ever AEW match at the 2019 Double Or Nothing PPV Event, when she would be part of a 6-Woman Tag Team Match. Sakazaki then made her AEW Dynamite debut in February 2020, when she defeated Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. in Women’s Division Singles action, but would stop appearing for the promotion soon after that due to travel restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Yuka Sakazaki would then compete in the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament last February 2021, where she defeated Mei Suruga and Emi Sakura before suffering a loss to Ryo Mizunami. Yuka last competed for All Elite Wrestling in July of 2021.

There’s no word yet on exactly when Sakazaki will return to AEW, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
