Jeff Jarrett Signs Full-Time AEW Deal As Director Of Business Development

The opening match of this past Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Jay Lethal take on Darby Allin in Singles action and walk out of the match with a huge win. Immediately after the match, Darby Allin was attacked by a masked person wearing a Sting mask, who revealed himself to be Cole Karter of The Factory, but Darby’s night wasn’t over as he was then attacked by WWE Hall off Famer Jeff Jarrett with a guitar over his head.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took to his Twitter and revealed that Jeff Jarrett has signed a full-time deal with the company as their Director of Business Development, which means that in addition to the WWE Hall of Famer being a talent in AEW with his current storyline, he will be working behind the scenes as well to help expand the company’s live event schedule and touring starting next year. Prior to leaving the WWE earlier this year, Jarrett worked with them in a similar capacity.
