Jon Moxley On The Verge Of Making History On Tonight’s Dynamite

Jon Moxley left WWE on April 30, 2019 after his contract with the company expired and he chose not to re-sign with WWE as he was unhappy with the direction of his character as well as his storyline under the regime of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and he even stated in an interview that he was having mental and emotional exhaustion to the point of feeling physically ill. Jon would then make a surprise debut for AEW at the 2019 Double Or Nothing PPV Event.

Moxley has since become a 3-time AEW World Champion and was reportedly working on a handshake deal as his contract with the company expired a few months ago and he would continue working on the agreement until they finalized his new deal. The 3-time AEW World Champion recently re-signed a brand-new five-year deal with AEW, which will see him compete for the company until 2027. Jon Moxley has been booked as a top star since he arrived in AEW and he has been Tony Khan’s go-to guy for majority of their big moments.

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will see Jon Moxley take on Evil Uno in a Singles Match after their face-to-face confrontation on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and if Moxley defeats Uno, then the 3-time AEW World Champion will become the first wrestler in AEW to win 100 matches. Cagematch reports that Jon Moxley has an 86% win ratio in All Elite Wrestling, so it is possible that he wins his match tonight against Evil Uno and becomes the first wrestler in AEW to win 100 matches.
