Kenny Omega cares for Larry during AEW All Out backstage brawl

Kenny Omega is not just The Cleaner, but also the EVP of All Elite Wrestling. It turns out that Kenny Omega was trying to save CM Punk’s dog, Larry, during the backstage brawl following AEW All Out Media Scrum. CM Punk went All Out at Colt Cabana, Hangman Page and the AEW EVPs after the show which led to tensions rising backstage.

There was an incident involving Ace Steel too who threw a chair that hit Nick Jackson in the eye. There are reports that Steel did it to save his wife who was in the vicinity of the altercation. Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful has shared this light over the backstage brawl that has become a sad situation for AEW. According to Fightful:

The Kenny Omega involvement was said to be him trying to remove Larry (CM Punk’s dog) from the situation to help keep him safe because he was barking and going nuts. Their side of the story says that once he handed Larry off, he tried to get Ace Steel off Nick Jackson, and Ace Steel bit Omega and pulled his hair.

All the members involved in the altercation have been suspended by AEW President Tony Khan. He even stripped The Elite and CM Punk of the AEW Trios Championship and the AEW Championship, respectively. The grapevine suggests that Ace Steel and CM Punk may be fired due to the situation.

While there’s no clear input on this, one has to assume that it will happen as the two were heavily involved in the conflict while The Elite were trying to talk things out. We noted that CM Punk fired the first punch which led to things getting out of control.
