Kenny Omega On Criticism Of AEW Not Signing Deonna Purrazzo

AEW has one of the most stacked Women’s Division in all of pro wrestling today, but there are those fans who feel that AEW’s Women’s Division can be more deep and talented than it already is and majority of those fan criticisms came after it was announced that former WWE Star Deonna Purrazzo has signed with IMPACT Wrestling. Those fans believe that Deonna Purrazzo should have signed with AEW if the company jumped on the chance immediately.

All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President Kenny Omega responded to the fan by saying he is happy for Purrazzo and that the fan should watch Shida and Rose’s title match at Double Or Nothing.

This is what Kenny Omega said:

“Truly happy for Deonna but I’m incredibly proud of our division and it’s athletes.” “You should try watching some of our matches. Start with the recent title match from a few days ago and then honestly tell me we need help.”

The fan then continued to criticize AEW’s Women’s Division by saying that he has watched all of the matches and women’s wrestling is pretty much all he watches. The fan also said that aside from a couple others, the Shida vs. Rose Title Match is the only thing AEW has done right lately.

Omega then responded to the fan by saying that he very much disagrees with what the fan is saying, but that is completely fine, the fan should just watch what he enjoys.
