Kris Statlander Opens Up On Choosing To Sign W/ AEW Over WWE

Kris Statlander is one of All Elite Wrestling’s most dominant and explosive female Stars, but initially, she was unsure of whether or not she would compete in the company or in the WWE.

In an interview Kris Statlander had with Alicia Atout on an episode of Catching Up With, Kris Statlander opened up about the fact that she was unsure of whether or not she would sign with AEW or WWE as even the WWE took interest in signing her.

This is what Kris Statlander said:

“You know, there were a lot of thoughts that were going through my mind because it was like WWE was interested in me, which put a lot of stress on me.” “I didn’t know what I was going to do. I didn’t know what was the right choice. You’d think it’s a dream come true for anybody to be offered a contract, but for me, getting signed was never a legit goal of mine in wrestling. I was like, am I going to be happy? Is this something I want to do? I was very nervous and stressed about it, but I am thoroughly enjoying all my time that I’ve been with AEW and all the opportunities that they’ve given me so far. I have no regrets about it.”

Statlander also opened up about the fact that she is unaware of how strong she really is as she previously worked as a stuntwoman and whether or not she plans on going back into being a stuntwoman once again sometime in the near future.
