Kris Statlander Reportedly Offered A Deal By AEW

It was reported on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Indie Star Kris Statlander has been offered a contract by All Elite Wrestling and will likely end up with them.

The report also states that Statlander was in the middle of contract negotiations with the WWE and that she was very close in signing with them. However no contract was sent to her, and she suddenly got booked by AEW. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also added that the WWE was under the impression that Kris Statlander would start working with them sometime in January, but she ended up working with AEW instead.

Statlander made her All Elite Wrestling debut on a recent episode of Dynamite when she teamed up with Hikaru Shida to take on the duo of Bea Priestly and Emi Sakura. Before working with AEW, Kris Statlander worked for several indie promotions such as SHIMMER, Shine, WrestlePro and Beyond Wrestling.

Prior to her appearance on AEW Dynamite, Statlander also worked a match on AEW Dark when she teamed up with Big Swole in a losing effort to Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D and AEW Women’s World Champion Riho.
