Lance Archer Makes AEW Debut During Wednesday’s Dynamite

Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts make a surprise appearance during an in-ring segment that also featured “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. During the in-ring segment, Cody talked about his loss to MJF at Revolution. Cody would call MJF out, but would instead get WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts would tell Cody Rhodes that he has a client, whom he referred to as The Dark Side, who will be coming to AEW. Jake “The Snake” Roberts would then say that he is not in AEW to take the whole pie, just Cody’s piece of the pie.

During the opening match between “The American Nightmare” Cody and Ortiz at last Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, Jake “The Snake” Roberts made his way down to ringside and he even brought with him the client he referred to as The Dark Side, who was Lance Archer. It was the official AEW debut of Lance Archer.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Lance Archer was seated at ringside for the first part of the match and it even looked like at one point during the match that Lance Archer was going to jump the barricade, but Jake Roberts said something to him to keep Archer back. Jake would then smile at Arn Anderson (who was in Cody’s corner) then the duo headed back out through the crowd. Archer was scheduled to make his AEW debut during last week’s Dynamite, but his debut was pushed to this week’s episode of Dynamite.
