Lance Archer To Make AEW In-Ring Debut On Wed’s Dynamite

The opening match of last night’s episode of Dynamite saw “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes defeat Jimmy Havoc in a one-on-one match. After the match, Jake “The Snake” Roberts got on the big screen and said that Lance Archer is chomping at the bit to get in the ring with someone. Roberts then said that all he is asking is for Archer to get one match with Cody Rhodes (Roberts also mentioned bringing Arn Anderson and Brandi Rhodes) and said that it is up to Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes then responded to Jake Roberts and said that his left elbow might need a “look see at.” Cody Rhodes then said that Roberts’ message came across “bitter and jaded.” Cody Rhodes then said that Lance Archer can make his in-ring debut on next week’s show. Shortly after Cody responded to Jake Roberts, Archer wrote on social media, “Ok! Now you know what comes next!”

It is possible that Lance Archer will make his in-ring debut against Dustin Rhodes on next week’s show as Dustin Rhodes took to Twitter following Archer’s comments and said, “Jake, you don’t want none of the #Rhodes fam!! You and your #ChickenHawk @LanceHoyt!! @AEWonTNT” Archer would then respond, “You’ll learn!”
