Last Week’s Dynamite Viewership Up For Final Friday Episode

Last week’s episode of Dynamite, which was the company’s third time to hold the show on a Friday, was able to draw a total of 487,000 viewers, while last Friday night’s episode of Dynamite, which was All Elite Wrestling’s fourth and final time to hold a Dynamite show on a Friday, was able to draw a total of 552,000 viewers, according to Nielsen via PWTorch.

This total is up 13.4% from last week’s episode of Dynamite, which drew a rating of 0.20 in the 18-49 key demo. This rating is up 5.3% from last week’s rating, which was the same with the week prior that had the lowest key demo rating in show history.

Last Friday’s Dynamite episode featured one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions Matt Jackson and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) battling Frankie Kazarian, Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo in the show’s main event. Last Friday’s Dynamite episode also featured the debut of Arn Anderson’s son Brock Anderson, Jim Ross’ sitdown interview with Andrade and Jake Hager facing Wardlow in an MMA Rules Cage Fight.

The viewership number of last Friday’s Dynamite episode, which drew the best audience for AEW on this temporary timeslot due to the NBA Playoffs, was down 28.5% from the exact same week in 2020, which at the time went head-to-head against NXT, while the 18-49 key demo rating was down 28.6% from the exact same week in 2020.
