Latest News On AEW Blood And Guts Ticket Sales

All Elite Wrestling has finally booked a Blood And Guts Match to take place on the May 5th episode of Dynamite. Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the May 5 episode of Dynamite is building around the Blood And Guts Match and that the full episode will only have that one match.

He also mentioned there will likely be pre-taped segments throughout the episode of Dynamite, but the entire episode will be centered around the Blood And Guts Match.

In an update, Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that AEW has put tickets out for sale and it reciprocated with a strong ticket sales. Meltzer noted that about 2,500 tickets were put on sale, which is 50% of the full capacity at Daily’s Place.

This would be the same as what was revealed on dailysplace.com that the show will have a 50% capacity with seating pods and that this show will be the largest crowd ever allowed to be in attendance at Daily’s Place for an episode of Dynamite since the COVID-19 pandemic started.

This is what Dave Meltzer said:

“They had a good first day, tickets went on sale today. I don’t know the number because I haven’t heard how many they put on sale. I know 2,500 will be the max, but they put a number on sale, around 1,500, could be 100 more or less.”

“As of two hours after they put the tickets on sale they had 354 tickets left. So I mean it was over 1,000 sold, it might be 1,200. As far as first-day sales they are at the level they would be for a pay-per-view, so it’s good.”

The Blood And Guts Match will see The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz) battle The Pinnacle (MJF, FTR, Wardlow and Shawn Spears).

There was a Blood And Guts Match originally scheduled to take place between the Elite and the Inner Circle, but the match did not push through due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
