A massive announcement was previously made by WarnerMedia that AEW’s flagship show, Dynamite, will be moving to TBS starting January 5th, 2022. It was also announced that AEW’s Rampage show will continue to air on TNT. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took to his Twitter and made a major announcement that prior to Dynamite moving to TBS in 2022, the final episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT will be airing live from inside Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, which has been AEW’s home for a really long time, on Wednesday, December 29th. Khan also announced that their Rampage show will be taped that night and will air on Friday, December 31st as the New Year’s Eve show.
All Elite Wrestling would also make several big announcements, the first of which is that their debut episode of Dynamite on TBS, which is set to take place on Wednesday, January 5 will be emanating from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The company also announced that the January 7 episode of Rampage will be taped that same night, with tickets set to go on sale this coming Friday, November 12 at 12NN ET and prices starting at $29 plus fees.
AEW would then announce that they will make their debut at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, which is the hometown of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair for a live episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, December 22nd and that the December 24th episode of Rampage will be taped on that night as well. Both shows will have their tickets go on sale this coming Friday, November 12th at 10AM ET, with prices at $29 plus fees.
The promotion will then be making their debut from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC on Wednesday, January 12 for a live episode of Dynamite and just like the previous episodes of Rampage, the Friday, January 14 episode of Rampage will also be taped that same night, with tickets set to go on sale next Friday, November 19 at 12NN ET. The Wednesday, January 12 episode of Dynamite will be the second AEW Dynamite on TBS episode.
