Matt Cardona Talks His Current Deal With AEW And More

Former WWE Star Zack Ryder (real name: Matthew Brett Cardona), who is now being called Matt Cardona, recently spoke with Sportskeeda on a number of topics, including his current deal with AEW and his goal to win the top titles in the company.

According to Zack Ryder, his current deal only entails a few appearances right now, but he is not in AEW for just a little vacation, he is in AEW to win the TNT Title, the AEW World Title and to get all those action figures. Zack Ryder also said that he is expecting to be in AEW for the long haul, so everybody should just take a chill pill, and relax, and enjoy the show.

Yes, so there’s a couple appearances, a few appearances right now, but listen…I’m not here for a little vacation.” “I’m here to win the TNT Title, the AEW Title, to get all those action figures! Matt Cardona made his All Elite Wrestling debut last week on Dynamite when he made his way down to the ring to save TNT Champion Cody Rhodes from The Dark Order’s beat-down from the hands of John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Cody Rhodes and Cardona are now set to face Silver and Alex Reynolds in a Tag Team Match on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
