Matt Sydal On Behind-The-Scenes Advice HHH Used To Give Him

Former WWE Star Evan “Air” Bourne (Matt Sydal), who made his All Elite Wrestling debut at All Out by entering the 21-Man Casino Battle Royale as the final participant, was recently a guest on the Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast to talk about a number of topics.

One of those topics included what behind-the-scenes advice WWE COO Paul “Triple H” Levesque would give him while he was still employed under the WWE NXT banner.

According to Matt Sydal, Triple H was so generous to him with his time and his knowledge, especially when he was the young up-and-comer. Sydal also said that the list of things HHH told him to work on is exactly what he sees going on in NXT today.

Triple H was so generous to me with his time and his knowledge when I was like the young up-and-comer wrestling Chavo, and every life event, after our matches, he would come back and give me just a list of things to work on which is exactly what I see going on in NXT, like how they’re adopting a high-flyer style to the WWE audience.

“Basically, how WWE, NXT does their stuff is the advice that Triple H was giving me, and that’s great, but It includes a lot of assumptions. They’re not necessarily false, but they don’t have to be true either.”
