WWE has reportedly sent out feelers to a number of contracted AEW Stars and there have been rumors as of late that some of them want out of their AEW deals to possibly return to the WWE, with one of them being Miro, but Ryan Frederick noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer forum that this is untrue and that Miro has no plans to leave AEW. Frederick also noted that the only people that really want to go back to the WWE are the ones whose partners are currently working in the company.
This is what Ryan Frederick said:
“Miro does not want to go back.” “The only guys that really want to go back are the ones who have significant others with the other company.”
Some of the talents that want to return to the WWE are Malakai Black, who was granted his conditional release from AEW and whose wife Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega) works in the WWE, Buddy Matthews, who has his girlfriend Rhea Ripley working for WWE and who recently said he will be stepping away for a while and Andrade El Idolo, whose wife Charlotte Flair also works in the WWE and who has Triple H as one of his biggest supporters during his days in WWE NXT, but there is no confirmation yet on if AEW will be granting Matthews and Andrade their releases.
