MJF Reportedly Spotted In Los Angeles Ahead Of AEW Dynamite

MJF has been the talk of the pro wrestling world for the past several days due to him no-showing what was a pre-scheduled AEW Double Or Nothing Fan Fest last Saturday, with him not even responding to any of his calls. There was even speculations that MJF might not appear at AEW Double Or Nothing as there was a flight out of Las Vegas, Nevada he was scheduled to board, but that did not push through and he did make an appearance on the PPV.

Wardlow would go on and defeat MJF after hitting him with 10 powerbombs and immediately following the match, MJF was stretchered out of the arena, which is a sign that the promotion might remove MJF from the storylines and he might even be written off of AEW TV.

PWInsider.com reports that Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) was spotted at LAX in Los Angeles, California yesterday afternoon, which could be a sign that he will be making an appearance on tonight’s Dynamite from The Kia Forum, but it remains to be seen if he will actually be on the show. This comes after it was mentioned on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that MJF and AEW CEO Tony Khan will have a meeting following the controversial situation at the AEW Double Or Nothing Fan Fest as well as the AEW Double Or Nothing PPV Event.

There’s no word yet on if the meeting has already happened or if the meeting will still be happening, but MJF being in Los Angles, which is the site of tonight’s AEW Dynamite may be a good sign that they have worked things out. MJF reportedly received a pay raise in January, but it was still considerably less compared to the amount of money some of the ex-WWE Stars that joined AEW are making, despite the fact that MJF consistently draws high ratings. MJF reportedly wanted to have a conversation with Tony Khan in regards to another pay raise on his current contract, so that he will be paid the same amount of money as other top calibre talents.
