MJF has been one of the top Stars in All Elite Wrestling ever since he signed with the promotion back in 2019. He has been put in a feud with AEW TNT Champion Wardlow, former AEW Champion CM Punk and top WWE Star Cody Rhodes over the past year or so and he is recognized as one of, if not the biggest heel not only in AEW, but in all of pro wrestling.
Following his rant on an episode of AEW Dynamite several months back, MJF made his highly-anticipated return at the All Out PPV when he would win the Casino Ladder Match with the help of Stokely Hathaway and a number of other AEW talents to earn a future shot at the AEW World Championship, currently held by Jon Moxley. Since then, the AEW fans have been behind MJF and they have even been cheering for him every chance they get to the point that they are now being referred to as “Devil Worshipers” and that has led to All Elite Wrestling releasing a shirt for MJF that reads “I am a Devil Worshiper.
Carmine Sabia, someone who is known to be a controversial writer as well as a Christian conservative, took to his Twitter and reacted to MJF’s brand-new t-shirt as well as how he felt it was insulting to Christians. Sabia would also respond to a fan by asking if it was okay to wear a swastika shirt to an AEW Event, to which MJF responded with, “Do it.” “Wear it to the next show.” MJF and Sabia would then go back-and-forth on Twitter, with MJF daring Sabia to drop by the create-a-pro school, so that he’ll give Sabia a one-on-one training session.
This is not the first time Sabia has been taking shots at AEW as he has criticized the company in the past for the Texas Death Match between “Hangman” Adam Page and Adam Cole for the AEW World Title.
