NWA Women’s Title Match Set For Double Or Nothing Buy In

It was recently announced by AEW that NWA Women’s World Champion Serena Deeb is set to defend her NWA Women’s World Title this Sunday at the Double Or Nothing Buy In Pre-Show. This will be a rematch from the first round of the AEW Women’s Eliminator Tournament, where Riho defeated Deeb on the February 17 episode of Dynamite. All of Serena Deeb’s NWA Women’s World title defenses have taken place on AEW TV and this will be her fifth title defense. Serena’s latest title defense took place on last week’s AEW Dynamite, where she defeated Red Velvet.

This Sunday’s Double or Nothing Event will be the first major appearance for both Deeb and Riho since March as Deeb was on the shelf for two months with a knee injury, which she reportedly suffered while competing against Riho. Riho, on the other hand, has been missing from AEW TV ever since she defeated Maki Itoh in the main event of the first-ever episode of AEW Dark: Elevation and it was reported that she returned to her home country of Japan following the match.

The 2021 AEW Double or Nothing Event is set to take place this Sunday, May 30th from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, with the Buy In Pre-Show set to start 30 minutes prior to the PPV at 7:30PM ET and the Double or Nothing PPV itself set to start at 8PM ET.
