Reason Why PAC Didn’t Appear On AEW TV Recently

This past Wednesday’s 2nd Anniversary episode of Dynamite saw PAC compete in the Casino Ladder Match, where the winner will earn a future shot at the AEW World Championship currently held by Kenny Omega. This was PAC’s return match after being out of action since the September 8th episode of AEW Rampage, where he lost a Singles Match to Andrade El Idolo.

Prior to Rampage on September 8th, PAC previously competed on the August 20th AEW Dark episode, where he faced Matt Sydal in Singles action. PAC was supposed to fight Andrade El Idolo at AEW All Out this past September 5th, but their match ended up taking place on AEW Rampage later that week. AEW CEO and President Tony Khan noted that the PAC vs. Andrade Match was pulled from the All Out PPV Event due to a travel issue, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned that PAC may have missed the show due to a “health issue.”

AEW Star Mark Henry revealed on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio that PAC had been out of action for about a month and a half due to him suffering a concussion and he was critical with PAC being put in a spot where he was on the receiving end of the dead eye at the hands of Hangman Page from the top of the ladder through a table during the Casino Ladder Match.

There is no word yet on when exactly PAC suffered the concussion or if it happened during his matchup against Andrade El Idolo on the September 8th episode of AEW Rampage, but Dave Meltzer did mention on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that several key people within the company have said that PAC was okay from the scary bump he took on Dynamite.
