Reason Why Penta Has Been Absent From Dynamite As Of Late

Top AEW Star Penta El Zero M has been noticeably missing from action on Dynamite as of late. It turns out that Penta has been out of in-ring action not due to an injury, but due to a different reason.

He was attacked by AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Champions Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson on the January 20th episode of AEW Dynamite to play into the storyline of him being out of action until at least the Beach Break special, which takes place next week.

Penta El Zero M has been dealing with injuries throughout 2020 and there were rumors and speculations that he was just injured and that is why he wasn’t on this week’s Dynamite.

According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Penta El Zero M is currently healthy and is only out of in-ring action due to work visa issues. The report also notes that a body double was used in the injury angle on the January 20th episode of Dynamite, so he has been off TV for two weeks thus far.

Penta El Zero M will be replaced by Moxley when, for the first time ever, will team up with Rey Fenix and PAC to take on AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and IMPACT World Tag Team Champions Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.
