Reports Suggest Big Show Was Unhappy With How He Was Used On WWE Legends Night

Today there was massive news in the wrestling world as it was confirmed, Paul Wight, famously known as the Big Show has signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling. This news came as quite a shock as it was fair to presume that Wight would have spent his entire career with WWE.

According to PWInsider Wight was very clear and honest about how he felt he was badly booked at last month’s Raw Legend’s Night Show. Wight was used in a very brief backstage scene with Randy Orton where he was berated by Randy Orton. The segment involved Orton claiming that the Big Show’s career had ended after previously taking a punt kick to the head.

Now it looks like WWE might have been fully prepared for Wight’s exit as his contract expired a few days later after both sides were unable to agree to terms on a new deal. There wasn’t much reporting of this at the time but WWE did move Wight to their Alumni section on February 19th.

Wight is one of the most famous wrestlers of the last 20 years with even non-wrestling outlets such as TMZ reporting AEW’s capture of the Big Shows signature.
