Ric Flair Is Willing To Walk Away From AEW Following Promo

All Elite Wrestling held TV Tapings for tonight’s episode of Rampage this past Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During the tapings, WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair cut a promo in front of the live fans and has since been receiving a lot of bad and negative comments about it.

According to the fans who were in attendance, Flair said, “18-28 no boyfriends no husbands meet me at my hotel room.” Flair has been known to be controversial when it comes to cutting promos as he simply does anything he wants and says anything he wants and he did use a version of that line in his promos in the past, but this time it is different and he has been getting a lot of backlash.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer took to his official Twitter (X) account and revealed that he is tired of hearing all this negativity. The Nature Boy also noted that he has earned the right to do whatever he wants and he is exactly where he wants to be. Flair then apologized to Tony Khan and said if he is embarrassing Khan and the company, then he is willing to walk away.

Flair signed with All Elite Wrestling a few weeks ago as part of an agreement to promote his “Wooooo! Energy” drink. Flair confirmed after a number of days that he’s under a 2 year deal and that he would be with “The Icon” Sting during Sting’s entire retirement tour.
