Ric Flair Says He Can Give AEW Ratings By Talking With CM Punk

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently took to his Twitter and proposed an interesting idea or segment to increase the ratings of All Elite Wrestling. Flair posted a photo from an episode of WWE’s ECW in 2008, when he teamed with CM Punk to beat Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin in Tag Team action and said that this is a moment he’ll never forget and they can definitely make history again and what he wants is to just have a conversation with CM Punk for ten minutes.

On a recent edition of his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Ric Flair brought up Punk and asked what has he or Bryan Danielson done or contributed in the success of AEW, despite admitting that both Punk and Bryan Danielson are huge stars in the professional wrestling business and they both have a lot of success as if you are able to bring in such high calibre talents, then you must be able to draw 1.1 M ratings and if you are unable to do that, something is probably wrong.

There were rumors and speculations that Ric Flair was heading to AEW shortly after his departure from the WWE as he is friends with AEW President and CEO Tony Khan and Andrade El Idolo, who is the fiancé of his daughter, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair, works for the promotion, but after the allegations on The Nature Boy were made on Dark Side of the Ring and he received a lot of backlash, talks of the WWE Hall of Famer signing with AEW came to a screeching halt as well.
