Ronda Rousey On The Possibility Of Competing In AEW

Former WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey, who competed in her last match with the promotion at last August’s 2023 SummerSlam Premium Live Event, where Shayna Baszler defeated her in an MMA Rules Match, made her debut with AEW/ROH during their television tapings a few weeks ago immediately after Rampage went off the air. Ronda and her long-time friend Marina Shafir teamed up to face Billie Starkz and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena in a match that aired on an episode of ROH on HonorClub.

Since then, there has been tons of speculation whether or not Rousey will be joining AEW/ROH after it was reported that she had a handshake agreement with the company and they hoped to use her again down the line if she was interested. According to PWInsider.com, Rousey isn’t looking to wrestle full-time as she is focused on being a mom and promoting her new memoir that comes out in April 2024.

Ronda recently spoke with TMZ Sports on the possibility of her competing in AEW/ROH. Ronda would also be asked a follow-up question on the first answer she gave.

This is what Ronda Rousey said:

“No, no, I don’t think so.” “Just trying to be home with the family and be a full-time mom.”
