Saraya’s WWE career will be remembered as one of the most influential in women’s wrestling over the last ten years. Saraya made her way to AEW after leaving WWE, but she didn’t have the best of starts in the company. In fact, Saraya admitted that looking at fan reactions after her promo was a mistake.

Saraya’s AEW debut promo was widely panned, and for good reason. This included her taking aim at Vince McMahon. It ultimately killed some of her momentum. Saraya discussed her debut promo in the company on the AEW Unrestricted podcast. Saraya admitted that looking at fan reactions after her debut promo was a mistake.

I hadn’t been around the wrestling community like online in a while, and I made the rookie move to check it that week. That was my biggest regret is checking it because it made me feel awful and…I didn’t think it was that terrible. I was just getting in the swing of things, I was f*cking nervous, I let the nerves get the better of me and that’s on me.

Saraya faced Britt Baker in her first match in over 5 years at AEW Full Gear. She defeated Baker in a match that did not receive much attention. Whatever happens next for Saraya, we’ll have to wait and see. There’s no storyline for Saraya at this moment.
