Attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped several AEW talents file to trademark their in-ring names as well as their monikers and phrases, recently assisted Taz, Red Velvet and FTR’s Dax Harwood of The Pinnacle file for new trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (the USPTO). “The Gimmick Attorney” took to his Twitter and posted a number of photos, which shows each star with their certificates of registration.
Dax Harwood and Red Velvet filed to trademark their ring names, while Taz filed to trademark his “The Human Suplex Machine” moniker, a moniker he has been using since the 1990s.
This past January 3rd, AEW filed to trademark the “Paragon” name and a potential logo for the stable, which is rumored to be the name of Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly’s stable as the Undisputed ERA name is owned by the WWE. The “Paragon” name is the only trademark the promotion has filed so far this year.
