It was previously reported that during the Elite Deletion Match at this past Saturday’s Full Gear PPV Event between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara, former WWE Superstars Hurricane (Shane Helms) and Gangrel made an appearance. Gangrel was on Guevara’s side and attempted to help him, while Hurricane was on Matt Hardy’s side.
Shane “Hurricane” Helms took to Twitter shortly after Saturday night’s Full Gear PPV Event to thank AEW, Tony Khan and Matt Hardy for allowing him to work the show and letting him be himself.
Matt Hardy then responded with,
“Are you happy now, @ShaneHelmsCom? You’re a free man once AGEEN. This story transcended time & promotions. Thank goodness for @AEW! P.S. – Sorry it took 2 years.”
