Dax Harwood, who is one-half of the reigning IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and one-half of FTR, recently took to his brand-new podcast and talked about the promotion as well as the AEW locker room, while also praising both The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and CM Punk. Dax also said towards the end of his podcast that he hopes both The Elite and CM Punk could work things out.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that there are certain people in AEW who weren’t happy about the podcast and Alvarez even noted that there is no chance CM Punk and The Elite will work together again after what transpired at the post-AEW All Out media scrum, but Meltzer added that because it’s pro wrestling “never say never.”
Meltzer then noted that All Elite Wrestling should have a company meeting tonight on Dynamite so that they will be able to address their issues as they need to get this stuff cleared up and get the whole roster on the same page because currently they are not.
This is what Dave Meltzer said:
“From what I heard from different people, not the people who you probably heard from, they were not particularly happy at all about this.” “This is what they need, I’ve said this before and they’ve done it. They need a team meeting on Wednesday in Seattle. They need to get this stuff cleared up and get everyone on the same page because they’re not…”
This is what Bryan Alvarez added:
“All I heard the other day was how unhappy people were about that podcast.”
