Sting Wrestles First Match In Six Years At Double Or Nothing

At the Double or Nothing PPV last night, pro wrestling legend “The Icon” Sting wrestled his first in-ring match in 6 years when he teamed with Darby Allin to defeat Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. The match was won by Sting when he hit the scorpion death drop on Scorpio Sky to secure the pinfall victory.

Sting, who is 62 years of age, wrestled for the first time on last night’s Double or Nothing PPV in 6 years in front of a live crowd after losing to WWE Star Seth Rollins at WWE’s Night of Champions PPV. After receiving a major buckle bomb at the hands of Seth Rollins, The Icon suffered a neck injury and was forced into retirement.

During AEW’s Revolution PPV, “The Icon” Sting had his first match for the company when he teamed with Darby Allin to take on Team Taz’s Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in a Street Fight. Allin and Sting came out of the match with a huge win after Sting hit his scorpion death drop finisher on Starks.
