The Briscoes Tells AEW’s Tony Khan They Want To Fight FTR

The co-main event of ROH’s recent Final Battle: End Of An Era PPV saw top AEW Stars FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) confront and get into it with the brand-new and 12-time ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe) after capturing the titles from former ROH World Tag Team Champions The OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett).

Prior to Final Battle, both The Briscoes and FTR have had a back-and-forth on possibly having a match down the line and the AAA Tag Team Champions has even revealed that they have been wanting this match for quite some time. The Briscoes recently took to their Twitter and noted that what FTR did at Final Battle was a mistake and it is just a matter of when and where for their match to come into fruition.

The Briscoes then told AEW President and CEO Tony Khan that all they need is a plane or a bus ticket, but Jay Briscoe specifically requested that Tony Khan let them use his private jet.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has revealed in recent interviews that big surprises and matches will be coming soon in the company over the next few weeks and debuts may happen as well and since tonight the special Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite will be taking place, we could potentially see a big dream match between The Briscoes and FTR on the show or perhaps on other upcoming shows.
