The State Of Maryland Could Run Wrestling Shows W/ Fans Soon

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan recently announced that some of the state’s COVID-19 safety policies as well as restrictions have been eased up and that large indoor venues and outdoor venues have now been allowed to hold shows and operate at a 50% capacity.

According to The Baltimore Sun, while venues are able to hold shows at a 50% capacity, they must still follow the COVID-19 safety protocols as well as the mask mandate. These new rules will reportedly go into effect this coming Friday at 5PM ET.

It will be interesting to see if WWE, AEW and other promotions start to book shows with larger crowds in Maryland as well as the other states now that they have been allowed to re-open from the shutdowns brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

ROH runs their shows from Maryland and their 19th Anniversary Show set to take place on Friday, March 26th from the UMBC Event Center is set to take place in Baltimore, Maryland as well.

There is no word yet on if ROH plans to sell ticket for the show, but updates will be given as it becomes available.
