There Reportedly Is Real-Life Heat Between Baker And Rosa

Last Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Thunder Rosa face “Legit” Leyla Hirsch in an AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match, where the winner will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Championship on the St. Patrick’s Day Slam episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, March 16th. The match ended with Rosa picking up the huge victory over Hirsch, which means that she will now challenge Dr. Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Championship. This is a rematch from this past Sunday’s Revolution Event, where Britt Baker retained her title with the help of Rebel and Jamie Hayter.

Immediately following Thunder Rosa’s victory on Dynamite, AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. cut a backstage promo, where she took some shots on Thunder Rosa’s body language from her ring entrance at last Sunday’s AEW Revolution Event. Baker said, “It’s funny how you had a little more pep in your step getting down the ramp tonight.” “I guess that’s how it works when you think you actually have a shot at beating your opponent.” Rosa’s husband Brian Cervantes would then comment on the promo of Britt Baker, when he said, “Britt Baker with a pathetic attempt at a promo! #AEWDynamite”

The story behind Britt Baker’s promo on AEW Dynamite is that shortly before Rosa made her way down to the ring for their match at this past Sunday’s Revolution, the original finish to the title match was changed and instead of having Rosa come out of the match as the brand-new AEW Women’s World Champion, she would lose. Following her victory over Hirsch on Dynamite, we will now see Thunder Rosa challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. for her title this coming Wednesday on Dynamite in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas in a Steel Cage Match.
