Tony Khan Promises Explanation To AEW Revolution Explosion Dud On AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan has used his weekly ad to promote AEW Dynamite on this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling to assure fans that there will be an explanation for the “explosion dud” that closed out Sunday’s AEW Revolution. This match was highly anticipated and unfortunately for everyone involved the match will only be remembered for one thing. The ending.

As some people were predicting, Khan will turn the disappointing ending at revolution into a storyline. This storyline will revolve around blaming Kenny Omega for a faulty engineering job.

“We learned that Kenny Omega might be the best wrestler in the world, but he’s also terrible at building exploding rings,” said Khan, while appearing alongside Tony Schiavone on Impact.

Khan continued to say that despite the ring explosion not seriously harming anyone, it shouldn’t take anything from the selfless act displayed by Kingston, who put himself at risk to protect his friend.

“Eddie Kingston might be a great friend after all. Jon Moxley might not have won the title back, but he did win a friend back,” said Khan. “The exploding ring ended up being not enough to seriously harm either man, but that doesn’t take away from what Eddie Kingston did.”

Khan suggested that there will be answers on the next Dynamite show by saying this.

“We’ll find out why he did what he did and what happened out there, in the end, tomorrow night Live on Dynamite.”
