AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently appeared on “Rasslin with Brandon F. Walker,” where he spoke about how the company does these huge PPV Events quarterly, but since it will be a while before their next huge PPV Event comes our way, they will be holding these huge special events such as next week’s “Winter Is Coming” and the fans can also expect the lineups to become bigger and bigger on Rampage as well as on Dynamite.
Khan also spoke about how he wanted to pack the company’s first-ever show in UBS Arena and when Bryan Danielson, someone who is recognized as arguably one of the best wrestlers of all time, wants to come out and wrestle each and every week, he is completely up for it and with Danielson having the biggest match of the year and one of the biggest matches in AEW history vs. Hangman Page next week on “Winter Is Coming” Dynamite, he still wants to wrestle later tonight against John Silver in Silver’s hometown of Long Island, New York.
This is what Tony Khan said:
“We do these big quarterly PPVs, but now it’s a while before the next PPV. For fans, every Wednesday night they are going to get great wrestling matches and on Friday Night Rampage. So we consistently are doing these huge events. I think through the holidays, every Wednesday and Friday, people can expect the cards to get bigger and bigger. Winter is Coming, we are only a week away now. To be here in Long Island, to be in New York, and to be in Long Island for the first AEW show at the new UBS Arena, I wanted to pack it with something really special for the fans. Bryan Danielson wants to wrestle every week. When you have the best wrestler in the world arguably, and one of the best wrestlers of all time, and he wants to come out and wrestle every week, I’m all for it. He’s got one of the biggest matches of the year, one of the biggest matches we’ve ever had in AEW, and that’s Bryan Danielson vs Hangman Page next week. He wants to wrestle this week against John Silver in John Silver’s hometown.”
Tony Khan also spoke about how he thinks MJF is going to get a big babyface hometown welcome and that he is really excited about it.

“I think he’s going to get the big hometown welcome, and I’m excited about it. I think the crowd is really going to respond well when they see MJF on Long Island. For him to be back on Long Island in the new UBS Arena on Dynamite, with this crowd, I definitely think he’ll get a big babyface reaction for the first time that we’ve really seen it. It’s probably the only place it will play out like this, but I think it’s great wrestling.”
Tony Khan then spoke about how the company still has some huge surprises coming as well as good plans for the future.

“We have some good stuff coming. We have some good plans for the future, good surprises, and great moments, and most importantly, great wrestling matches.”
