All Elite Wrestling’s founder and president Tony Khan on Monday clapped back hard at WWE Superstar Randy Orton on Twitter.
Khan responded after being tagged on a tweet from CM Punk which stated “no one is safe” from his words on WWE Backstage. Kahn cracked,
“No one is safe? Sounds like a plane full of wrestlers in Saudi Arabia.”

In response, Orton attached an old report about Khad’s father, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan, being investigated for corruption.
What’s that whole thing about glass houses and stones?https://t.co/z99BVuCMfP— Randy Orton (@RandyOrton) November 19, 2019
That led to a vigorous defense from Tony Khan, who stated the claims against his father were found to be baseless in the past. In addition, Khan also called out Orton for using the “N” word on a Twitch stream and using the threat of leaving to AEW as leverage for a new, lucrative contract he just received from WWE.
I thought you only tagged me in your posts when you were grasping for leverage. That article’s over a year old + is about baseless claims made about my dad years ago. That’s the best you can do, nothing. Meanwhile in the time since that was written, you used the N word on twitch.— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) November 19, 2019
Here is the clip of Orton from his gamer account on Twitch that Khad referenced:

As a result, AEW’s Brandi Rhodes declared Khan the winner of the social media heavyweight bout:
