Tony Khan Teases Top NJPW Star Possibly Coming To AEW

The main event of last Friday’s episode of Rampage saw “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy lose to “Big Money” Matt Hardy in a Lumberjack Match. Immediately after the show ended, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan made his way down to the ring and had an in-ring segment with Orange Cassidy, where he addressed Cassidy regarding the H.F.O. always getting involved in matches and always having members of the team in the ringside area.

According to Tony Khan, Cassidy should consider asking the help or bringing in someone from the Chaos faction in NJPW, especially when he or someone from Best Friends battles Matt Hardy’s H.F.O. faction. Cassidy and the other members of Best Friends were announced as the newest members of Chaos. Top NJPW Star Kazuchika Okada, the leader of Chaos, was even mentioned on Dynamite this past Wednesday several times and AEW usually doesn’t mention or talk about a wrestler if there are no plans of bringing that wrestler in.

It appears that Tomohiro Ishii or Kazuchika Okada might be appearing on AEW TV soon as interestingly, they are both currently in the United States.
