Top AEW Star Out Of In-Ring Action Due To A Concussion

The October 23rd episode of AEW Dynamite saw Lance Archer battle Eddie Kingston in an AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament Match and while the match was underway, The Murderhawk Monster attempted to hit Kingston with a moonsault off the top rope, but he ended up landing hard on his head. Archer was then checked out at ringside by the referee and ringside physician Dr. Michael Sampson. Lance Archer would then make his way back in the ring and was immediately rolled up by Kingston for the win.

According to an exclusive report by Wrestling Inc., Lance Archer is out of action due to a concussion and he is in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the site of the Full Gear Event, to undergo rehab, but he is not expected to compete at the Full Gear PPV. Archer will be rehabbing his injury as he works towards his in-ring return.

Lance Archer took to his Twitter and said that he has done the same move hundreds of times in his pro wrestling career, but he just under rotated and things could have been much worse. Lance then thanked everyone in AEW for taking care of him and protecting him and said he will be back soon.
