Top AEW Stars Absent From Dynamite Tapings Due To COVID-19

The main event of this past Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite noticeably didn’t see the other members of The Elite come to the aid of Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy, namely “Hangman” Adam Page and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) when Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy were laid out and lost a Street Fight to Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara, thanks to the help of the other members of The Inner Circle.

The absence of “Hangman” Adam Page and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) was mentioned by commentary during the Street Fight. Jim Ross also noted that Hangman Page and The Young Bucks are still at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. JR also said that they are observing the COVID situation and since Hangman and The Young Bucks have family as well as a newborn, they are at home practicing social distancing. Hangman Page and The Young Bucks were reportedly also absent from last month’s tapings in Georgia.
