Two Matches Were Cut Short At Sunday’s AEW All Out PPV

This past Sunday’s AEW All Out PPV had a total of 15 matches on the card, with 4 matches taking place on the Zero Hour Pre-Show and 11 matches taking place on the All Out PPV itself. The show had several huge moments such as the returns of MJF and ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe and Chicago’s own CM Punk defeating Jon Moxley in the main event to once again capture the AEW World Championship. This past Sunday’s AEW All Out PPV Event ran for about five hours, which is a long run time for a PPV, but two matches were reportedly still cut short.

According to Fightful Select, two matches that were supposed to be longer than it turned out to be as per the original plan was cut short and those matches were the AEW TBS Championship Match between AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill and Athena and the Singles Match between Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks. There is no word yet on why exactly those matchups were cut short as more time were allotted for them if they wanted to use it, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. Cargill ended up retaining her championship over Athena and Hobbs defeated his former Team Taz partner.
