Update On Bandido’s Status After Tony Khan Purchased ROH

There have been questions among professional wrestling fans around the world in regards to the status of a number of the top talents in ROH even before the promotion was purchased by AEW CEO Tony Khan as quite a few of them had been working with a work visa under Ring Of Honor. PWInsider.com reports that one of the current ROH World Champions in Bandido is one of those talents who had been working with a work visa under the company that is set to expire soon and there were no plans of their work visas to be renewed while the company was on a hiatus, but now that ROH has been purchased by Tony Khan, there is still the question of whether or not talents like Bandido will be signed and their work visas will be renewed.

It seems that international wrestlers such as Bandido will be returning to their home country for the time being and will be competing in their local wrestling events even though they will be signed with ROH as there are things that will still be sorted out.

ROH’s Supercard Of Honor XV is set to take place on Friday, April 1 from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas and will air live on FITE TV. ROH’s Supercard Of Honor XV will be the company’s first-ever event after going on a major hiatus and it will also be their first-ever event with Tony Khan as the owner and the booker. Bandido is set to go up against Jonathan Gresham in a Winner Take All Match to determine the undisputed ROH World Champion with Jonathan Gresham defending the original ROH World Title and Bandido defending the modern ROH World Title.
