As previously reported, several AEW Stars have their contracts coming up and with the company signing a number of former talents and top free agents from other wrestling promotions, AEW CEO Tony Khan has chosen to let their contracts expire quietly rather than to let them go early. The promotion recently removed Stu Grayson from the official AEW roster page and the belief is that he has left the company.
A new report from Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated that AEW and Grayson couldn’t come to terms on money to work out a new deal, so Grayson is now a free agent as his contract with All Elite Wrestling has officially expired and as of this writing, no wrestling company has yet shown interest in signing the former Dark Order member. The promotion nor AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has yet to comment on or address Stu Grayson’s status with All Elite Wrestling as of this writing, but several of the names that signed in 2019 will have their contracts expire this year and will not be renewed.
Stu Grayson made his AEW debut at the company’s inaugural Double Or Nothing PPV in May 2019 with Evil Uno as the people who created The Dark Order. Since then, Stu has had a ton of success as part of The Dark Order and the group has only grew stronger. Grayson last competed for AEW during the most recent episode of Dark: Elevation, when Dark Order defeated Eli Isom, Anthony Bennett, Mike Law, Jaden Valo, Kori Meshaw and Brett Waters in 12-Man Tag Team action. Grayson has yet to comment on his AEW status, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
