Wrestlers Who Worked AEW Dark Attended Recent WWE Tryout

According to Fightful Select, a number of wrestlers who have appeared and competed on AEW Dark, which is considered as the promotion’s developmental show, have attended WWE’s most recent tryout this past May 6th and 7th at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

It was determined that WWE’s tryout was only for female talent and those talents include Tesha Price, Alex Gracia, Ava Everett and Natalia Markova. In 2018, Tesha Price went up against Dr. Britt Baker in a dark match during that year’s Mae Young Classic Tournament and she even faced Lacey Evans on NXT TV in the same year. Since last November, Price has competed nearly 20 times on Dark and has even worked a match with AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida on Dynamite in December.

Alex Gracia has competed for AEW on a number of occasions since last September. She has also competed for promotions such as NWA, Stardom, IMPACT Wrestling and EVOLVE Wrestling throughout her career. Ava Everett has also competed for AEW on numerous occasions and she has also wrestled for promotions such as CZW and Beyond Wrestling. As of late, Everett has been working for Limitless Wrestling.

Back in 2017, Natalia Markova attended her first WWE tryout. Since then, she has worked for companies such as SHINE, EVOLVE Wrestling and PROGRESS Wrestling. It is interesting to note that these talents, who have worked AEW’s Dark tapings, are independent wrestlers and are not under contract with AEW.
