Over the years, WWE has asked their fans a number of question on a survey about topics related to pro wrestling, whether it may be the independent scene or other major pro wrestling promotions. These pro wrestling surveys are usually just asked out of necessity and nothing really comes out of it, but WWE did add independent wrestling content on the WWE Network such as PROGRESS, EVOLVE, and ICW after they asked fans about whether they wanted indie wrestling content on the WWE Network.
WWE’s latest survey has asked fans how they feel about other pro wrestling promotions such as AEW. In the survey, WWE asked fans questions such as what aspects come to their minds when thinking about AEW Dynamite and what do they like, if anything, about watching AEW Dynamite. Questions about characters, promos and if wrestlers have creative freedom and can speak their minds were also asked. Questions on NJPW, Ring of Honor and IMPACT Wrestling were asked as well.
