AEW All Out Results (08/31): Chicago, Illinois

All Elite Wrestling brings to you their All Out PPV Event which emanates from the Sears Centre Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Advertised for tonight’s PPV: Chris Jericho faces “Hangman” Adam Page in an AEW World Heavyweight Title Match to determine the first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion, Kenny Omega takes on PAC in a Singles Match, AAA World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) defends their AAA World Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) in a Ladder Match A.K.A Escalera De la Muerte, Cody Rhodes faces Shawn Spears in a Singles Match w/ Tully Blanchard in his corner, The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) takes on Best Friends (Chuckie T and Trent Beretta) in a Tag Team Match where the winners will be receiving a First Round Bye in the AEW World Tag Team Title tournament to crown the first-ever AEW World Tag Team Champions, Darby Allin faces “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela and Jimmy Havoc in a Triple Threat Match, Riho faces Hikaru Shida in a Women’s Division Singles Match where the winner will receive an AEW Women’s World Title shot, SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) takes on Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt in a Six-Man Tag Team Match, the 21-Woman Casino Battle Royal set to take place on The Buy In Pre-Show where the winner will receive an AEW Women’s World Title shot and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) takes on Jack Evans and Angelico in a Tag Team Match also set to take place on The Buy In Pre-Show.

All Out Buy In Pre-Show:

Nyla Rose wins the Casino Battle Royale and will earn the first spot in the AEW Women’s World Championship Match on the October 2nd AEW on TNT debut.

Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) def. Jack Evans and Angelico in a Tag Team Match when Private Party delivered a Top Rope Frankensteiner into a Cutter to Evans for the win. After the match, Jack Evans and Angelico attacks Private Party and the crowd chants “party pooopers!”

We then get a video package for a wrestler named Wardlow that shows him beating up a bunch of thugs who go after him while he is walking through a parking garage with his lady.

We then head backstage where MJF talks with Jen Decker, initially just checking her out. MJF then mentions how he doesn’t have a match tonight, but he didn’t want a match, he wanted to be in Cody’s corner for his match against Shawn Spears to make sure Cody wins.

Jim Ross makes his way out to the commentary table as The All Out Buy In Pre-Show comes to a close. Jim Ross then hypes The All Out PPV.

Main Show:

SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) def. Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt via pinfall with Best Meltzer Ever on Jungle Boy (who Jim Ross kept calling “Jungle Jack Perry”). After the match, SCU shows some sportsmanship and shakes the hands of Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt.

PAC def. Kenny Omega via referee stoppage after PAC reversed the One Winged Angel into a Brutalizer submission.

Jimmy Havoc def. Darby Allin and “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela in the Cracker Barrel Clash.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) def. Best Friends (Chuckie T and Trent Beretta) in a Tag Team Match to receive a First Round Bye in the AEW World Tag Team Title tournament to crown the first-ever AEW World Tag Team Champions. After the match, The Dark Order continue the attack and the lights suddenly go out. Orange Cassidy is standing in the ring when the lights come up. Hands in his pocket, Orange Cassidy hits a suicide dive on the creepers and rolls back in the ring. Orange Cassidy with a kip-up and the crowd is loving it with a “Freshly squeezed” chant. Best Friends head into the ring and give Orange Cassidy a double hug. He responds with a weak thumbs up.

Riho def. Hikaru Shida in a Women’s Division Singles Match to earn the second spot in the AEW Women’s World Championship Match on the October 2nd AEW on TNT debut. After the match, Nyla Rose makes her way out to get a good look at Riho.

Cody Rhodes (w/ MJF) def. Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard). After the match, MJF had the chair in hand and looked at it for a moment, like he was gonna do something, but he just tosses it aside and hugs Cody. He then hypes up the crowd for Cody’s victory. Cody then celebrates a bunch in the ring.

The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) (c) def. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) in a Ladder Match A.K.A Escalera De la Muerte to retain their AAA World Tag Team Titles. After the match, two masked men came to the ring and destroyed everyone that was in the match. The duo then unmasked themselves and it’s LAX! The duo are now with AEW.

Chris Jericho def. “Hangman” Adam Page to become the first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion. After the match, Jericho celebrates with the title as Page looks on from the floor and stunned at what happened to closeout the show.
