AEW Dark Match Results (01/08/2020): Southaven, Mississippi

After last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air, three dark matches took place inside the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi as a bonus for the fans in attendance. Below are the results of those dark matches:

Darby Allin def. Brandon Cutler in a Singles Match.

“The Librarian” Peter Avalon and “The Chairman” Shawn Spears def. The Gunn Club (Billy Gunn and Austin Gunn) in Tag Team action.

Shanna vs. “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose never got started as the two just ended up getting in a brawl. Shanna put Nyla Rose through a table.

All these matches will be featured on next week’s episode of AEW Dark, which will have Dave Brown announce one of the matches.

As previously reported, prior to last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite going on the air, a segment wherein AEW paid tribute to the legends of Memphis Wrestling took place inside the Landers Center.

AEW Dark reportedly also featured All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes announcing that Billy Gunn’s son, Austin Gunn, has been signed by AEW.
