AEW Full Gear Results (11/09): Baltimore, Maryland

All Elite Wrestling brings to you their Full Gear PPV Event which emanates from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

Below are the full results from the show:

Full Gear Buy In Pre-Show:

AEW‘s Full Gear Buy In Pre-Show opens up with a hype video from the Countdown to Full Gear Special for The Young Bucks vs. Santana & Ortiz Match.

We then get clips from the Countdown to Full Gear Special for the Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley Match.

We then get clips from the Countdown to Full Gear Special for the AEW World Title Match between AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. If Cody Rhodes loses, then he will never challenge for the AEW World Title ever again.

Taz and Goldenboy join Excalibur on commentary for the Full Gear Buy In Pre-Show.

We then get a promo for the Bea Priestley vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D Match. Baker talks about Priestley being unprofessional in the ring and that her first move was a boot to the back of her head, causing a concussion. Baker then says that she is there to win matches, but Priestley may not be. Baker then says that she hopes they can show the fans what they are both truly capable of in the ring.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D def. Bea Priestley via submission with Lockjaw. After the match, Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes show up on the stage and then head to the ring. Bea Priestley is still in the ring when they get there. Kong with a spinning back fist levels Priestley. Kong then takes the glove off and pulls a knife out, then she hands it to Brandi. Double underhook facebuster on Priestley by Kong. Brandi gives the knife back to Kong. Brandi then pulls up some of Priestley’s hair and Kong takes a hunk of it. Kong keeps the lock of hair as they both make their way to the back.



Jim Ross makes his way out to the commentary table as The Full Gear Buy In Pre-Show comes to a close. Jim Ross then hypes The Full Gear PPV.

Main Show:

The Full Gear PPV opens up with a video package hyping up Full Gear around the concept of pressure.

We then get the entrances for the opening match of the Full Gear PPV.

Proud-n-Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) def. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) via pinfall with the Street Sweeper on Nick Jackson. After the match, Sammy Guevara heads down to the ring with his camera in hand to celebrate a bit with his Inner Circle stablemates. Guevara then brings a sock full of baseballs. Rock ‘N Roll Express are up on the apron. Guevara and Ortiz then charge and they go low, sending both guys to the floor. Matt and Robert then beat up on Santana. Ricky then hits a slingshot Canadian destroyer on Santana (with a little help from Matt to get him over). Ricky then hits a suicide dive on Guevara and Ortiz. The crowd pops big for those spots.



We then get the entrances for the PAC vs. “Hangman” Adam Page Match.

“Hangman” Adam Page def. PAC via pinfall with Deadeye.



We then get a replay of Brandi Rhodes and Awesome Kong beating up Bea Priestley and taking a lock of her hair. This happened during The Buy In Pre-Show.

We then get the entrances for the Shawn Spears vs. “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela Match.

Shawn Spears def. “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela via pinfall with a running Death Valley Driver.


We then head backstage where Kip Sabian talks with Goldenboy about wanting to carve his own path in AEW. Sabian says that he realized people were forming alliances and looked into possibly working with The Hybrid 2, but he also found someone else that he has great chemistry with. That is none other than Penelope Ford (a.k.a. Super Bad Squad). Ford says “Why be bad…when you can be super bad?”

We then get the entrances for the SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) vs. Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) Three-Way Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

SCU (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) def. The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) via pinfall with SCU Later on Isiah Kassidy to retain their AEW World Tag Team Titles. After the match, The Lucha Brothers attack SCU. Pentagon looks to finish off Kazarian on a chair. The lights go out though. In the ring is another Pentagon. The other Pentagon gives Pentagon Jr. an STO. Fenix then jumps in. The other Pentagon is none other than Christopher Daniels. He hits the angel’s wings on Fenix, sending him onto Pentagon Jr. Daniels pulls the mask off and grabs a chair, swinging at Pentagon Jr. who rolls out of the ring. Daniels then hugs the other SCU members. Daniels then yells at Fenix and Pentagon Jr., “Let’s finish this!”



We then get the entrances for the Riho vs. Emi Sakura Match for the AEW Women’s World Title.

Riho def. Emi Sakura via pinfall with a folding press to retain her AEW Women’s World Title.


We then get the entrances for the main event between AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes for the AEW World Title. If Cody Rhodes loses, then he will never challenge for the AEW World Title ever again. The judges for the AEW World Title Match are Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson and The Great Muta.

Chris Jericho def. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes via stoppage after Maxwell Jacob Friedman throws the towel in, retaining his AEW World Title. After the match, Inner Circle comes out with the bubbly to celebrate with Le Champion. MJF is in the ring with a dejected Cody. MJF is sad and saying he is sorry. Cody isn’t even listening and seems pretty annoyed at what happened. MJF and Cody talks a bit. MJF then kicks Cody between the legs. He smiles and then sneers at Cody, shoving Cody to the mat, yelling “My time!” Crowd then with an a-hole chant. While heading backstage, MJF gets a some liquid thrown at him from a fan. MJF stares at the fan for a second and then heads to the back.




We then get the entrances for the Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega Unsanctioned Lights Out Match.

Jon Moxley def. Kenny Omega via pinfall with a double underhook brainbuster. After the match, Moxley is amped up. The Young Bucks then check on Omega. Moxley then asks the camera if he is number four or five now and says it doesn’t matter, flipping off the camera. Moxley then jaws with the camera some more as Matt and Nick continue to check on Omega and the show comes to a close.
