AEW Dark Results (10/15): Kenny Omega vs. Joey Janela

This week’s episode of AEW Dark opens up with Tony Schiavone welcoming the fans to another edition of the show. We then get right into the action with a Three-Way Match featuring Kip Sabian, “The Librarian” Peter Avalon and Sonny Kiss.

The next match is an 8-Man Tag Team Match featuring The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) and Los Gueros del Cielo (Angelico and Jack Evans) taking on SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) and CIMA.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) and Los Gueros del Cielo (Angelico and Jack Evans) def. SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) and CIMA in an 8-Man Tag Team Match. After the match, Cody Rhodes broadcasts his new segment called “From Undesirable To Undeniable.” His first-ever guest is none other than referee Aubrey Edwards. She talks about when she was supposed to be a referee in the WWE and how she just didn’t feel good enough. She then says that she is happier than ever to be part of AEW as well as to have such a big following from the fans.

Tony Schiavone then recaps the highlights from the first-ever AEW Tag Team Title Tournament Match. The match saw Private Party defeat The Young Bucks, which means that they are now headed to the second round of the tournament. Tony Schiavone then discusses the main event match from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite where AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara took on and defeated Dustin Rhodes and “Hangman” Adam Page.
