NJPW’s Jay White Pulled From Upcoming G1 Climax 32 Events

NJPW recently issued a press release, where it was revealed that the company’s top star Jay White did not make an appearance on their G1 Climax 32 Event on August 9th and won’t be appearing on their show later tonight as he is suffering from “heat stroke-like symptoms.” There is no word yet on when White contracted the “heat stroke-like symptoms” as he has yet to comment on his health, but White is still advertised for the August 13th G1 Climax 32 Event.

An 8-Man Tag Team Matchup last August 9 featuring Jay White teaming with other members of Bullet Club Bad Luck Fale, Gedo and Juice Robinson against the team of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hirooki Goto, Kazuchika Okada and Toru Yano was changed to a 6-Man Tag Team Match with Toru Yano removed, while White will be replaced by Gedo in another 6-Man Tag Team Match later tonight.

You can check out NJPW’s full press release below:

Jay White, who was scheduled to wrestle in Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall this evening, has been affected by heat stroke like symptoms and as a result will be removed from August 9 and 10 cards due to an abundance of caution. As an additional precautionary measure, White has undertaken COVID antigen testing, which has returned negative.

We apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing White wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.

The following change has been made to the next two night’s cards:
