JEFFERSONVILLE, April 6, 2022 – Paradigm Pro Wrestling will become the first American indie to run a card contested entirely under World of Sport inspired British Rounds rules when “Half the World Away” premieres tonight on IndependentWrestling.TV (IWTV) following the conclusion of AEW Dynamite.
In the main event, former AEW star Suge D (better known to United Kingdom fans as Sugar Dunkerton) will defend the Paradigm Championship against the United Kingdom’s Sidney Von Engeland.
“Sidney Von Engeland approached us last year and asked if we’d be willing to run a British Rounds card, saying that he thought we’d be the only American indie company that would say yes. After a few months of planning and a ‘proof of concept’ match last October, we agreed to run the card. We’re very excited to showcase a different form of professional wrestling to a North American audience” said Paradigm Pro Wrestling co-owner Gary J. Wilson.
In the co-main event, Jordan Blade will defend the PPW Super Middleweight Championship against the United Kingdom’s Eden Von Engeland. Other well known stars competing under British Rounds include New Japan Strong Openweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, and former MLW star “The Bone Collector” Dominic Garrini. Lawlor will face former CHIKARA Tag Champion Travis Huckabee, while Garrini will face former male model Jeffrey John.
The seven bout card airs tonight at 10PM ET / 7PM PT on IWTV, and all streaming revenue generated by the premiere will be donated to Ukrainian relief efforts. IWTV is the world’s largest streaming library of independent wrestling; their app is available on Roku, AppleTV, Amazon FireTV, Google Play, and other OTT streaming services.
Wilson says that if fan reaction to the show is positive, Paradigm Pro will run additional British Rounds cards. The complete card for the event is as follows:

World Brass Knuckles Championship
Tyler Voxx vs 44OH’s Bobby Beverly (C)
