JC Mateo Hints at NJPW Return Following WWE Release

JC Mateo hinted at a possible return to NJPW following his WWE release, posting on Twitter about an old NJPW video of himself and commenting "I used to do fun stuff in an alternative universe….. maybe it's time to dust off the ol college degree." According to Dave Meltzer's previous reports, WWE originally had bigger singles plans for Mateo before he became just another member of Solo Sikoa's MFT group instead of the featured threat he was initially expected to be.
